Breast Cancer Australia has patient accommodation available to assist patients and/or their families needing a place to stay whilst receiving oncology treatment. This is joint initiative between the Breast Cancer Australia and its affiliates Cancer & Bowel Research Trust and Kids Cancer Research Trust. There are six residences throughout Australia, all in close proximity to metropolitan hospitals in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Each residence has two or three bedrooms and is available for up to six persons to stay at any given time. The duration of the stay may range from short term (1 to 3 weeks) to long term (one month to half a year). The maintenance and ongoing servicing of the patient accommodation is undertaken by Breast Cancer Australia and volunteers as well as staff from the metropolitan hospitals affiliated with the residences. Our aim in presenting these properties is to provide a dignified, private and relaxed accommodation environment for the family and patient during their particular treatment time. Park View    "...delightful, modern feel and only a tram ride away..."

Park View is centrally located at Unit 505, 62 Mount Alexander Rd, Travancore. This impressive apartment has a relaxed feel and features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, an open living area and a fully equipped kitchen. It is also directly across from extensive parklands for your enjoyment. It can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. This residence is located in close proximity to the Royal Melbourne, Royal Women's, Royal Children's and St Vincent hospitals.

City View is centrally located at Unit 26/ 177 Angas St, Adelaide. This delightful apartment with a warm, inviting ambience and stunning views of the city, comprising 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, open dining and fully equipped kitchen, living area and 2 balconies. It can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. This residence is ideally suited to patients being treated at Royal Adelaide, St. Andrews, Ashford, Calvary and the Women's and Children's hospitals.

Northern Star Retreat is located at 140 Fenden Rd Salisbury Park. This elegant, tranquil home is beautifully landscaped and consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, laundry, living, kitchen and dining areas with a large pergola. It can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. The residence is handily located near both The Queen Elizabeth and Lyell McEwin hospitals.

Heart of the City is centrally located at 351 Gilles St, Adelaide. This superb bluestone home has modern facilities and décor with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, luxurious open living, dining and kitchen area, charming patio, lawn garden and double covered garage. It can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. This residence is located in the CBD making it eminently suitable for patients attending the Royal Adelaide, St. Andrews, Ashford, Calvary or Women's and Children's hospitals.

The Playhouse     "...a gorgeous, relaxing apartment..."

The Playhouse is ideally located at Unit 10/65-71 Beamish Rd, Northmead. This spacious and comfortable apartment has two bedrooms, open living and dining, two bathrooms, laundry, fully equipped kitchen and balconies. It can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. It is only 500 metres from the oncology department of the Children's Hospital at Westmead and the Westmead Hospital. The Playhouse has been especially designed to accommodate persons suffering from cancer who require a tiled, isloated environment during treatment to reduce the chance of infection.
