Patient Assistance

In October 2007 Breast Cancer Australia provided a patient assistance grant for Nicki Barter and her family of $10,000. Breast cancer sufferer Nicki with her husband Matt and children Jack, 4 and Maddy, 14 months will now be able to cope with the ongoing treatment. Unfortunately, after being given the all clear Nicki now has secondary bone cancer. Breast Cancer Australia wishes her all the very best for her upcoming challenge and hope that everything works out just fine. As Nicki has said, "I've never asked about life expectancy, I just live day to day and every day is a new day".
